Our strong membership of professionals is an active force, guiding the present and future of probation services and probation-related services in Colorado.

CAPO strives to represent your professional interests in many ways. We advocate for the delivery of the highest quality services to offenders, victims, and the community. We work to insure that professional development, training, and job satisfaction issues are addressed. We are pleased to have our voices heard through cooperative relationships and representation with statewide policy and decision making committees. We also enjoy a partnership at a national level with the American Probation and Parole Association (APPA).

CAPO recognizes the achievements of professionals in Colorado probation and our affiliates.

If you wish to know more about CAPO or are interested in the opportunities for involvement, consider attending the annual CAPO Mountain Retreat or a quarterly membership meeting. We welcome all levels of participation from the field to make this your organization.
